SpaceX is looking to raise around $40bn to finance purchases of Nvidia chips to expand in AI infrastructure. According to sources, the financing could include around $10bn of bank loans and $30bn of investment-grade debt. Apollo is leading the potential transaction, while PIMCO is among the investors evaluating the deal. The discussions remain at an early stage, with the financing expected to close in 2027 if it moves ahead. SpaceX’s dollar bonds were trading slightly up, with its 5.35% 2031s at 95.5, yielding 6.5%
