Community Health Systems (CHS) announced early tender results of its $600mn cash repurchase offer for two series of senior secured notes. By the Early Tender Date, roughly 94% of the 2031s and 46% of the 2032s had been tendered, significantly exceeding the offer’s limits and triggering proration. Consequently, only about 37% of the tendered 2031s and 28% of 2032s Notes were accepted — amounting to approximately $368mn and $231mn in principal, respectively, with settlement expected on 7 May 2026. Since the full $600mn cap has now been reached, the company will not accept any notes tendered after the Early Tender Date unless it chooses to amend or waive the terms.
Its 6% 2029s traded stable at 99.6, yielding 6.14%
